Man Of Steel Shapes Up For Season Ahead

Quirky Man Of Steel had his first outing of the season at Larkhill on 27th January. We had to wait for the horse to come right and the correct race to start the season, so decided that this meeting would be appropriate, knowing the horse would benefit from the run. The race shaped up to be a competitive Men's Open so we went into it being happy with a top 3 finish. Steel ran a nice race to finish 3rd, behind the impressive Brackloon High, under Joe who was very happy to get his first run into him as he always improves for it. He will now be set up for the Hunter Chase at Lingfield that he won last year.
